Solidarität mit Maxim
Im November 2005 wurden Timur und Maxim in St. Petersburg von Neonazis mit Messern angegriffen. Timur überlebte diesen Angriff nicht.
Maxim erinnert sich an diesen Angriff: "Plötzlich wurden wir von einer Gruppe von 10-12 Neonazis umringt, die von hinten auf uns zu kamen und Anti- Antifa! riefen. Sie begannen uns zu schlagen. Sie haben Timur 5- 7 Mal in Hals und Rücken gestochen.Er verblutete innerhalb von drei Minuten, mir wurde mehrere Male in den Rücken und Kopf gestochen. Ich wurde ins Krankenhaus gebracht und verbrachte dort 11 Tage."
Timur und Maxim waren seit Jahren bei "Foot not bombs" aktiv, Timur spielte in zwei Bands, Distress und Sandinista. Beide wurden schon voher bedroht und der Angriff geschah genau an dem Tag an dem die jährliche Demonstration gegen Nazi-Gewalt stattfand. Der Art des Angriffs: bei Tag in einer belebten Geschäftsstrasse, mit gezielten Stichen in Hals und Kopf finden bis zum heute statt. Zuletzt im April auf den 19jährigen Sasha in
Moskau, der gerade auf dem Weg zum einem Hardcore-Konzert war. Auch er überlebte diesen Angriff nicht.
Momentan ist Maxim, Hauptzeuge in einem Ermittlungsverfahren gegen eine Gruppe von Neonazis, die den tödlichen Angriff auf Timur und Maxim durchgeführt haben sollen. Dies bringt Maxim jedoch in eine noch risikoreichere Position, da er keinerlei polizeilichen Schutz erhält. Mittlerweile sind Aufkleber aufgetaucht auf denen abgekündigt wird: "Nach Timur ist Maxim der Nächste!". Um als Nebenkläger in dem Prozess gegen die Mörder von Timur aufzutreten, wird dringend finanzielle Unterstützung benötigt.
Das heutige Konzert soll ein Anfang sein.

In November 2005 Timur and Maxim were attacked by Neo Nazis in St. Petersburg. Timur did not survive these attack.
Maxim recalls the aggression: "Suddenly we were surrounded by a group of a dozen Nazis, which had come up from behind and shouted "anti- Antifa". They began to beat us up, Timur was stabbed 5-7 times in throat and back. He bled to death within three minutes , I was stabbed several times into back and head. I was brought to a hospital and had to stay there 11 days."
Timur and Maxim were activists of "Food not bombs" and Timur played in two bands: Distress and Sandinista. Both had been threatened before and the Neo- Nazi attack toke place on the day of annual demonstration against Nazi violence. The attack occurred in daytime on a busy main road and this kind of attacks are still taking place. Last April 19 year
old Sascha who was on his way to a hardcore concert was attacked and did not survive it.
Currently Maxim is the principal witness in preliminary proceedings against the Nazis who carried out the deadly attacks on Timur and Maxim. But this puts Maxim into a risky position, because he has not been given policial protection. Meanwhile some stickers turned up in town which state: "After Timur, Maxim will be next!" To become a joint plaintiff on the trial against the murders of Timur, we need your financial support.
